Cahir was eliminated from the County League at the semi-final stage at Littleton on Tuesday last. At the break Cahir trailed by 4 points but Drom pulled away in the second half.

Cahir played with the strong wind in the first half but failed to put enough scores on the board. leading at the interval by 1-4 to a point, the goal coming fro Keith Maguire. Swan went ahead inside 5 minutes of the second half but another goal by Keith Maguire put Cahir back in front. However in the closing stages Swan score two goals and despite Kevin Maguire finding the net for Cahir Swan held on to win.

In an exciting game in Ned Hall Park on Sunday morning Cahir gained their second win in the Championship. Cahir trailed at the break by 0-10 to 1-5, the goal coming from Cormac O’Donnell. In the second half Cahir got on top and sealed the victory when Cormac O’Donnell (S) scored a late goal.

CAHIR CAMOGIE
Congratulations to the Cahir Camogie team on winning the Munster Final of the Community Games by beating Sarsfields of Cork. They now take part in the National Finals in Athlone.
