CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to Robbie Costigan on his appointment as Captain of the Tipperary S. F. team. We wish Robbie and his colleagues well in the season ahead. The campaign begins next Saturday night when Tipperary play Laois in the A. F. L. in Portlaoise at 7:30.

County Draw

Congratulations to Liam Halpin & Theresa Murnane on their recent wins in the County Draw.

Sympathies

The sympathies of the club go to O’Brien Family (Tipp Rd) on the death of Ger’s mother, May. Also to the Burke Family on the death of Tom Burke of Guinchy Terrace, may they rest in peace.

Best Wishes

Best wishes go to Keith McGuire as he heads for greener pastures in New York. A dual player with the club for many years and was apart of the minor team which won a county B' title in 2004.

JUVENILE

Last Thursday night Paudie Roche gave a very interesting talk to parents and players about training and the importance of proper diet. Paudie  played with the club some years ago and is now fitness coach with the Munster Rugby Academy. He spoke for an hour and a half and for the fine crowd present it was very informative and it is hoped he might return in a couple of weeks to do another session. Many thanks to Noel O Donnell for organising the event.
